Bacteria plays an important role in the mineralization process in nature. It participates, induces or controls the formation of inorganic mineral deposit. This paper presents an overview of soil reinforcement techniques based on MICP. In this paper with the discussion of research results and status in both domestic and international areas, the role of microorganism in calcite precipitation and the modification mechanism is systematically summarized. Comparison and selection of several MICP methods are made. And it also offers the great application prospect of the introduction of microbe debris flow prevention and control which are urgently needed to be solved and described. |
