Abstract :

In this paper, we introduce the concept of -interval valued fuzzy ideals in BF-algebra, where ,  are any one of Î, , ,   and investigate some of their related properties. We prove that every -interval valued fuzzy ideal of a BF-algebra X is an -interval valued fuzzy ideal of X. We show that when an -interval valued fuzzy ideal of a BF-algebra X is an -interval valued fuzzy ideal of X. We also prove that the intersection and union of any family of -interval valued fuzzy ideals of a BF-algebra X is an -interval valued fuzzy ideal of X.

Abstract :

Certain advancement in the automotive embedded electronics in car and applications the capacity of the current 14 volt voltage system no longer meets the demand of the on-board devices. In order to be backward compatible with the existing 14v system and to introduce extensive modifications, a dual 14v/42v is being developed as a compromising solution to the problem. Based on the new system this article is proposes a synchronous buck/boost converter an attractive topology for 42V/14V dual voltage systems since it offers the possibility of bi-directional operation without additional components. In this paper, transient currents generated during converter startup or changes in operation modes between buck and boost are analyzed and a cost effective solution to remove the transient currents is proposed. The validity of the proposed control strategy is investigated through simulation and experiment with bi-directional converters.

Abstract :

The main objective of Load Frequency Control (LFC) is to regulate the power output of the electric generator within an area in response to changes in system frequency and tie-line loading. Thus the LFC helps in maintaining the scheduled system frequency and tie-line power interchange with the other areas within the prescribed limits. Most LFCs are primarily composed of an integral controller. The integrator gain is set to a level that the compromises between fast transient recovery and low overshoot in the dynamic response of the overall system. This type of controller is slow and does not allow the controller designer to take into account possible changes in operating condition and non-linearity’s in the generator unit. This paper shows the control of load frequency in a two area power system with PI controller, incorporating of Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage Device (SMES) and Battery Energy System (BES) such as Redox Flow Battery (RFB) for the improvement of Load Frequency Control of a two area interconnected power system using Genetic Algorithm (GA).

Title : Failure Correction of Linear Array Antenna Using Cuckoo Search Algorithm

The influence of evolutionary algorithms enhanced its scope of getting its existence in almost every complex optimization problems. In this paper, cuckoo search algorithm, an algorithm based on the brood parasite behavior along with Levy weights has been proposed for the radiation pattern correction of a linear array of isotropic antennas with uniform spacing when failed with more than one antenna element. Even though deterioration produced by the failure of antenna elements results in various undesirable effects, consideration in this paper is given to the correction of side lobe level and null placement at two places. Various articles in the past have already shown that the idea to correct the radiation pattern is to alter the amplitude weights of the remaining unfailed elements, instead of replacing the faulty elements. This approach is made use of modifying the current excitations of unfailed elements using cuckoo search algorithm such that the resulting radiation pattern is similar to the unfailed original pattern in terms of side lobe level and null placement at two places. Examples shown in this paper demonstrate the effectiveness of this algorithm in achieving the desired objectives.
